Shutelake Lambswool

 At Shutelake, we are proud that we can utilise everything our Ryeland/Lleyn lambs have to offer.   In addition to our 100% grass reared meat, we also produce Shutelake Lambswool.  This is a new product for 2020!  It is made from the wool  shorn from the lambs in August, when they are 4 months old.  We shear the lambs to keep them cool and comfortable during the summer and to reduce our need for chemical fly spray.

 

The wool from this first time shearing is beautifully soft and fine and we hope that you enjoy working with it as much as we enjoy producing it.
